About

Wake up to sunrise over Lake Sammamish in this private 2,000 sq ft lakefront apartment with its own entrance. Three bedrooms, two baths and a modern kitchen (renovated 2023) with induction cooktop. Relax in your private hot tub by the fire pit, then head to the dock for free kayaks and water bikes (May–Sep). Peloton bike and covered gym on site. We live upstairs, respect your privacy and are a text away if needed. Tesla charger on site (80A).

Good to know

Everything you need is on one private level, set right on the water. There are three bedrooms: a King primary suite with private ensuite, a second King bedroom, and a Queen bedroom, plus a second full bath. The modern kitchen has a full oven and induction cooktop. The Queen bedroom has a Peloton bike, along with weights and a balance ball. You'll need your own Peloton membership, and we're happy to help you set up a short-term one. Just outside the primary suite, a covered gym with Life Fitness equipment (T3 treadmill, X3 elliptical and C3 bike) means you can work out in any weather. The apartment opens onto a large private patio with an outdoor dining table, hot tub and fire pit, and a BBQ right outside the door. From there, a path leads through the garden to the dock and the lake. Lake Sammamish is freshwater and great for swimming in summer; in the cooler months, it's perfect for watching the mist lift off the water from the hot tub. The Tesla wall charger delivers up to 80A. Other EVs will need a Tesla/NACS adapter.

High-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The living room TV has live TV plus virtually every movie and series you could search for, all in one place. The bedroom TVs are smart TVs, so you can sign in to your own streaming accounts.

- Early check-in (from 11am) or late checkout (until 3pm) can be booked through the link in your booking messages. For other times, just ask us. - Maximum 6 guests. Only registered guests may stay overnight, and any visitors are the responsibility of the guest. - Babies welcome with supervision, but the apartment isn't childproofed. A Pack 'n Play is available. - No children under 12 in the hot tub or on the dock without adult supervision. - Small pets allowed, but please discuss with us in advance as there are a lot of birds and other wildlife around. If your pet is over 20 pounds, especially in the colder months, please contact us first so we can confirm the property will be suitable. - No smoking or vaping in the apartment, including e-cigarettes, marijuana, etc. Smoking is welcome outdoors, away from the patio and hot tub. - No excessive noise between 10pm and 8am. - No daily housekeeping, although this can be arranged on request for an additional fee. - The apartment is the fully self-contained lower floor of our home, with its own private entrance. The upstairs is a separate residence. The apartment itself and the patio outside it (including the hot tub and fire pit) are for your exclusive use. Other areas, such as the storage area below the hot tub, are not part of the rental property. You're also welcome to use the path down to the lake and the dock, but these areas are not exclusive to your rental. - Owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur, or for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables. By booking a reservation, all guests expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises, or the use of the premises by others they invite.

Neighborhood

Quiet, residential lakefront setting on Lake Sammamish, yet only minutes from everything. Crossroads Shopping Center (QFC, cinema and restaurants) is 5 minutes away, and Redmond's Bella Bottega also has a cinema and restaurants. Downtown Bellevue and Bellevue Square, a large mall with Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's and many more shops, are about 10 minutes away. Nearby gyms include Pro Club and Crunch Fitness in Bellevue, 24 Hour Fitness in Redmond, and Club Pilates studios in Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland. Snoqualmie Pass skiing is 45-60 minutes away.

Guest Access

The entire lower floor is yours: a fully self-contained apartment with its own private entrance, reached by outdoor stairs down the side of the house. The upstairs is a separate residence. You're welcome to enjoy the garden, the dock and the lake, and kayaks and water bikes are free for guests from May to September. We're always reachable by phone or text.

Find us

A car is recommended, although Uber and Lyft also work well. Downtown Bellevue is about 10 minutes away, Seattle 20-40 minutes depending on traffic, and Sea-Tac Airport 25-35 minutes. Microsoft and Overlake Hospital are each about 4 miles away, and Google's Kirkland campus is about 15 minutes. Easy access to I-90, I-405 and SR-520. Free parking for 2 vehicles and a Tesla wall charger (80A); other EVs need a Tesla/NACS adapter.
